My first block for Susan is ready to be mailed to New Zealand tomorrow. I too made it quite a bit bigger, so Susan can trim it to her liking. Now I'm curious what's next.
Lovely, another super looking block, I can't wait to receive them all. I had three packages in the mail today from Jackie, Mum (Karen) and Catherine, so thank you very much ladies! It was a lot of fun opening them all. I really can't wait for all the others to arrive now and start organising them into a quilt top.
Mum is sending her packages out in the next week or so, I am looking forward to being on the other end of the package this time. Mum won't be contributing to the blog as she is not familiar with how to do it but she does read it.
I mentioned to her that so far everyone had returned the extra fabric wasn't used but that I had forgotten to tell you all that it was ok for you to keep it as I wouldn't need it for making extra blocks. However, she said in her case she will probably be making more blocks so would you mind sending back what you don't use. I said I would mention it and that it was fine to ask for it back as it can be too hard to find the same fabric again if you want to make more blocks.
So, perhaps we can just send back the extra fabric with the completed block (as you have been doing already) unless we are told by the sender that they don't want it back?
