I really enjoyed making these blocks and love the colours. I found the website with the pattern and it revealed all as I was puzzled as to how you would join the blocks!! Obvious when you know how!

The circle block has been posted ..I am sorry it has taken so long Jennie. I did get carried away with the bubbles!
Have already started cutting the squares for Lucy.

I think we are slightly warmer than you Joanne and to wake to sunshine was sheer delight.Have a good weekend everyone.

Jennie,  You will be relieved to know that I have FINALLY made your block. I failed to get it done before 3 weeks holiday in Thailand (2 with Jackie which was neat we didn't get much stitching done). I  took your block bits with me and got the circles prepared but then decided to overlap them in my layout and it would be too hard to hand stitch. Soback home nowa... 4 days later I finally got a moment to sit at the machine. Now I'm going to the post office - for hopefully a better experience than Lucy!

Thank you for sending my fabric to Jackie.  When I was there in June I put together the block and now I am going to blanket stitch by hand around each of the circles.  I intend to try and get this done on my flight back to NZ so I am sorry if I am running a bit late in getting your block finished.
I hope to get it in the post soon.

Just wondering if any of you have got my July parcels yet? I posted a week ago so thought at least some would have arrived. I was worried after my run in with the lady at the post office that NZ post might refuse to post them if they thought that they should be parcel post!
Also I need a new address for Catherine? or I could just do your block for you Catherine as you are probably not organised to sew with the big move. Just let me know.
And apologies to Jennie. I have been working on the circles all morning and will post tomorrow. I was delayed by preparing my July parcels but am back on track now!

July blocks are in the post tomorrow. Sorry, I meant to send them last week but it has taken much longer to organise than I anticipated! It's a very simple block so shouldn't take long.
