Yes as Susan mentioned, I had an exciting day today. I entered a quilt into the local regional competition. I won first place in the Contemporary Quilts over 1.5m and Second place for Hand Quilting. Needless to say I'm absolutely thrilled.
Thanks. I bought the cape about 30 minutes before the photo from one of the merchants - spending some of my winnings! It's crocheted from the neck out in a circle. The circle does not sit flat - the inner rows being fuller than the outer rows. Very comfy and fun to wear and surprisingly warm.
Congratulations Joanne! What an achievement, you must be thrilled. I love your sweater by the way, it looks like it made of feathers.

Well done Joanne! Yes, I'm also wondering about your top/sweater. Did you make it?
